The search tools on this site may send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the third-party provider that returns sponsored results. Gilroy People Search does not keep a separate copy of those searches on its own servers. If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to include and use it to respond to that message.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems record ordinary server-log details such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, referring pages, and timestamps. We review that information in summary form to keep the site available, troubleshoot errors, and understand which Gilroy records pages visitors use. Cookies or similar technologies may be used for basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
What We Do With This Data
We use the information described above to operate the site, fix technical problems, measure traffic, respond to messages, and improve page content. We do not sell a list of our visitors. We also do not build individual visitor profiles for people researching Gilroy records.

The site is served over an encrypted connection. Server logs are retained only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above. Because there are no visitor accounts, this site does not maintain a password-protected profile for you.

This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor submitted personal information to us, use the contact page and we will delete what we can locate.
Your Data Rights
California residents may have privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and related data-broker rules, including rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out where those laws apply. Beginning January 1, 2026, California residents may use the Delete Request and Opt-out Platform, known as DROP, to submit one deletion request to active registered data brokers, with processing scheduled to begin August 1, 2026. Because Gilroy People Search holds very little direct visitor information, most requests involve checking our contact mailbox and server logs and removing what we can locate. Public records held by the City of Gilroy, Santa Clara County, California agencies, courts, or records custodians are outside our control; removal or confidentiality questions for those records must go to the custodian, and programs such as Safe at Home may apply in qualifying situations.
